What can you tell us about the quality of your rucksacks?
We are premium suppliers in the defence and trekking industry where major organizations procure from us regularly. Our products have been designed in compliance with specifications given out by such organizations. Additionally, we are ourselves a group of trekkers and avid travellers and have designed for maximum utility and durability.
How is the Tripole rucksack different from other rucksacks?
Given we are manufacturers and involved in travelling and trekking ourselves, we have designed the product for maximum comfort and durability. The internal frame system consists of a hard fibre and an aluminium rod to support the frame and your back while walking for long hours. Additionally, comfortable padding at the back and waist straps along with multiple strategic load adjustment points make this a highly effective rucksack for travelling long durations as well as for trekking and hiking. The fibre frame and metal rod is an essential in a rucksack and make sure you look for one before purchasing.
My height is ___, will the rucksack be ideal for my height?
Most of our rucksacks (Walker, Colonel, Colonel Pro, Voyager, Terra) have a height adjustment mechanism so it can be used by anyone from 5 ft to 7ft. Buy the rucksack that fits your requirement rather than height.
If you're still conscious, then go for the lesser variant and try and optimize on how to pack better without compromising on utility. Feel free to reach out to us via our helpline number or email for any further doubt.
Can we carry the rucksack in flight?
You can carry any rucksack as check-in luggage. Some flights have special arrangements for rucksacks, given it has multiple straps hanging. Do request for this special baggage treatment as it generally gets priority on the luggage belt J
For cabin baggage, all rucksacks are mostly allowed when placed horizontally in the overhead storage area. You might be told to carry it as check-in luggage if it appear to be bulky or is overweight than the approved limit.
Is the material waterproof for rucksacks?
All fabric used in our products is water-repellent to a good degree but the rucksack in whole is not waterproof as water can seep in through stitches and zippers. We recommend using the rain cover that comes with the rucksack as soon it starts to rain. The fabric can spill away liquids in case of emergency spills or sudden showers of rain but will not be able to withstand heavy rain fall.
Will my laptop fit inside the rucksack?
Rucksacks have a sleeve that can be used to carry a laptop or water bladder. This sleeve will fit in 17” laptop easily.
Will the sleeping bag fit into my rucksack?
The Shivalik 0 Degree sleeping and the Shivalik 10 Degree sleeping bags fits inside our rucksacks whereas the Shivalik -10 Degree sleeping bag does not fit horizontally and takes up a lot of space when placed vertically and hence recommended to carry outside using compression straps or ropes.
The Camp Series sleeping bags are also lightweight and will fit easily inside our rucksacks.
